I hate chasing sausage links around the pan and trying to get them to brown evenly. The darned things never seem to cooperate with me!
Now I use toothpicks and skewer to links together with 2 toothpicks. I cook them on one side, and then they’re easy to flip over. I also use this technique for larger sausages both in the pan and on the grill. I just use the small kabob skewers. I will soak them in water first, however, if I’m putting them on the grill so the skewers won’t catch on fire. You can actually flip them with a spatula or a set of tongs without losing them off the grill!
