Every time I make this dish, I have wonderful memories of a birthday aboard our sailboat anchored off the coast of Tortola in the BVI’s with my dearest friends Pam and Dan. We’ve done more than a few cruises together.
We were dining up on deck and watching for the green flash with the Caribbean sunset … what wonderful memories!

Large pasta pot
Strainer or colander
Large pasta fork
Cutting board
Chef’s knife
Butcher’s knife
Mini prep, mortar and pestle, or coffee grinder
Measuring cups and spoons
Large slotted spoon
Wire whisk
Small bowl
