We were in port in Puerto Rico one evening and we were off that day. Our boss wandered down the dock and just came aboard to have a quick visit. When he smelled what was cooking, he couldn’t help but invite himself to sit down with us. It was nice to just sit down and break bread together casually. He loved it. He even took the leftovers home to his wife, who called later that evening and asked me to make it for their family the very next week.

- wooden spoon
- cutting board
- Chef’s knife
- large sauté pan
- large wooden spoon
- cheese grater
- pepper mill
- measuring cups and spoons
