Breakfast Waffle Panini

Instructions

1. Mix together the cream cheese, ricotta, confectioner's sugar and the cinnamon in a medium bowl. Remove the waffles from the freezer and let them come to room temperature.
2. On 2 of the waffles, spread the jam of your choice and top with the cheese mixture. Cover with the remaining 2 waffles.
3. Melt the butter in a large skillet or electric frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the sandwiches and cook about 3 minutes per side and until golden and crisp. Add more butter to the pan when you flip if needed. Be prepared to lower the heat if the waffles are browning too quickly.
4. Remove them from the heat and let them cool 1 minute before serving. Dust them with the confectioner's sugar.
